The Heritage Collection

This mixed media art collection is meant to reflect and be a glimpse into the lives of Black people. Black femininity is a common thread throughout the work and is uniquely expressed in each piece. In this collection, I incorporate colored pencil, acrylic paint, ink, fibers, and other textiles that fit the theme of Afrocentricity and Blackness. Each piece has a fabric border to complement the color dynamic of the piece.
